Earnest David Walker, the Son of the late Laura Bell and  Andrew Lee Walker was born in Pender County on November 20, 1945. He answered to the Master’s call on Thursday September 14, 2017 at his Home, Burgaw, North Carolina.

Earnest received his formative education from the Pender County School System. He was saved at a young age and loved to attend church. He received his License to Preach in 2006 under the church of CCFF Inc. He was currently a member of Kingdom Connection Church in Burgaw, NC where he was a faithful servant of God. He loved working in the church in whatever capacity he was needed.

He believed in working and did many different types of work that he was gifted to do. Earnest was an entrepreneur and worked for him-self for many years. Earnest loved to work on cars and he put this talent to good use as an auto mechanic. He also poured driveways until his health would no longer allow.  Earnest loved cooking, fishing and spending time with his family.

Earnest was recently wed in holy matrimony to Annie Simmons and into this union came four adult children.
