Freddie J. Anderson 63 of the West Pender Community, died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw, NC.

The funeral will be 1 pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 at  St. Mary United Holy Church, Atkinson, NC with Rev. Frederick  McLean officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carr Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 until 7 on Wednesday, July 12 at the funeral home and at all other times the family will receive friends at Pastor Corine Carr's Home.

Freddie James Anderson was born August 23, 1954 in Burgaw NC to the late Ollie James and Mary Sue Anderson. Freddie obtained his education through Pender County Schools. He was employed as a mechanic with Frederick McLean’s Tractor Company for many  years. He also worked along beside Claude Beatty installing swimming pools and pouring concrete. He was a loving brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. He leaves to cherish his memories, Two Brothers: Herman (Lula) Lewis and Archie (Linda) Anderson, Three Sisters: Pastor Corine Carr, Arelethia Carr and Alice (James) Armstrong, Special Nephew/Caregiver: Maurice Murphy, 6 nieces and 9 nephews Special friends: Quincy Jones, Claude Beatty and Alton Lewis and a host of other relatives and friends.
