Farewells are always sad, but to know that our loved one has left us and is now present with the Lord is a blessing. We humbly submit to the will of God.

James Thomas Glaspie, better known as “Buck” was born April 8, 1948, in Rose Hill, North Carolina, to the late Cornelius Thomas Glaspie and Doshie Phine Glaspie. He departed his life on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation facility in Wallace, NC.

 James was educated in Duplin County Public Schools System. James was a faithful employee for many years at Duplin Nursery, located in Rose Hill, North Carolina. James was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.  

Those left to cherish his precious memories: One Brother Council Glaspie (Joyce), Wallace, North Carolina, two Sisters Annette Wilson (Floyd), Willard, North Carolina, Patsy McMillian (Allen), Wallace, North Carolina, one Aunt Katie G. Fussell, Goldsboro, North Carolina.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends who loved him dearly.
