Robert "PIG" Pigford Jr.May 31, 1945 ~ August 14, 2017 (age 72)
“Pig” was educated in the Duplin County Public Schools Systems. Upon graduating from Charity High School, he relocated to New York. He joined the U.S. Army and while enlisted, he served in the Vietnam Conflict.

Pigford “Donald”, Milton James, Sr. “Mildew” and Raymond Smith .Grandchildren: 12. Great Grandchildren: 19. Great-Grandchildren: 1. One Sister: Vianne Newkirk. Four Brothers: Wilbert R. Pigford, Raeford Pigford (Mattie), Glen E. Pigford and Elearn Kenan (Betty Ann). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. “Pig” was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
