Roosevelt Boney,  affectionately known as "TRICK" age 82 of Wallace peacefully surrendered to the will of God on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in the arms of his loving daughter, Carolyn.

He was born to the late Ethel Mae Powers Boney and Roosevelt Boney Sr. of Wallace, NC.

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. Tabernacle Holiness Church in Willard with Pastor Kenneth Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Pickett Cemetery in the Deep Bottom community.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Alfred Lee Burton of Willard, NC, Carolyn Boney Hall of Wallace, NC, Alvin Ray Boney of Fayetteville, NC and Roosevelt Boney III of Wallace, NC.  One step-daughter, Hazel Thomas, two step-sons, Jimmy Brown and Eddie Brown all of Wallace, NC.  One brother, John Powers of Ivanhoe, NC, thirty-five grandchildren and fourty great-grandchildren.

He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
