Losing my husband, Dee Tramel has been devastating. Mrs. Vanessa and her son have been kind, available and understanding of our needs. The care that was taken is beautiful and we are so grateful to have this family help us! I told her my husband and I song is Sure Thing by Miguel, not that it could be played in church. Mrs Vanessa thoughtfully played it when we finalized everything the day before and visited. Heartfelt is the word to use in describing this family. The memorial Afghan will be a treasured memory. Your team made an exceptionally difficult experience less challenging.

Words cannot express the kindness, professionalism, and care that was provided by Ms. V and her team. She took excellent care of my father, AJ "Bimbo" Potts. She was always just a phone call away. We never want to think about losing a loved one, and when it happens your world is turned upside down. Ms. V and the NixonLewis team gave us comfort and walked us through the process where we felt like family.

There are no words for the pain that we felt at the time of this very unexpected death. But the way Nixon and Lewis went out of their way to make sure that our family and my son felt secure in every way. They are the most loving and understanding at a time like this someone could ever ask for there’s not enough space to tell you how kind and generous these people are. We all have to go through this and it’s never easy but when you have such caring and compassionate people like the people at Nixon and Lewis it seems to make it a little easier may God bless these people and the way they take care of your love ones in a time of resting thank you thank you thank you for everything that you have done for this family and continue to do for the community if I could give them six stars I would they are amazing people and I can’t thank them enough .

There is’nt enough space here for me to express the amazing and compassionate service we, the Underwood family received at the passing of my beloved uncle, Lewis J. Underwood. The service that Nixon Lewis Funeral Home provided, particular Mrs. Vanessa Lewis was priceless. In the short time that we knew each other, I not only felt a spiritual bond, but a bond like a sister. During the passing of my sister, Sharon the staff gave my family so much support and love. The professionalism of the entire staff was amazing. I was blown away by their personal touch and never-ending helping hand. My sister was amazing and they went above and beyond to see that she received the proper send off.
