Mr. Ronald Lee Brice departed his life quietly and peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Wallace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Wallace, North Carolina. “Worm ” as he was affectionately called, was the son of the late Betty “Skeeter ” Louise Brice. He was born on October 24, 1956, in Duplin County, North Carolina.  Ronald loved sports and one of his favorite sports was pool.  Ronald will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

James Paris Lamb, known affectionately as "Rude Boy" to his friends and loved ones, embarked on his final adventure on March 23, 2024, in Onslow County. Rude Boy lived a life that was as vibrant and spirited as his nickname suggests. James was born on May 31, 1985, in Duplin County, to William Paris James and Elaine Lamb James. They instilled in him an eagerness for life. James is missed by those who knew and loved him.

Lorenzo Lisane, affectionately known by many as "Porky," passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, at UNC Health in Nash County. Lorenzo was born on November 5, 1959, in Pender County.  Lorenzo was a man whose presence was felt deeply by his family, friends, and community. He was a living testament to the power of love, humor, and intelligence.

Laura Jean Boone, “Ma Dukes” was born on July 23, 1960, to the late Shirley Wooster and the late Lorn Bullock passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She fought a long battle with COPD. She was such a fighter. Laura loved to watch wrestling, and go to the beach to pick up shells but her go-to was music. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ernest Clanton DeVane (Jr.) , the eldest child of the late Earnest and Hattie Powers DeVane , was born on January 8, 1947 in Wilmington, North Carolina.
