Chantrell "MISSI" Jones

 A TIME TO BE BORN: Ms. Chantrell Micole Jones, affectionately known as Missi was born on April 17, 1975 in Washington, DC. She was the First born of Linda Jones Moore and the late Russell McPherson. A TIME TO LEARN: Chantrell attended Pender High School but graduated from New Hanover High School. Chantrell went to Mr. David School of Hair where she graduated. She enjoyed being a cosmetologist. Chantrell was a very loving and caring person. She was an awesome, intelligent woman who cared for everyone she met. She never met a stranger. She would always help anyone in need. She worked hard to provide a loving home for her children who were her heart.

A TIME TO SERVE: Chantrell was baptized at Lakes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Atkinson, NC at a very early age.

A TIME TO ENJOY: Chantrell was a devoted mother who loved and cherished her family whom will miss her dearly. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes as well as doing hair, spending quality time with her children and family. She was there if you needed a shoulder to cry on or if you needed a kick in the butt.

A TIME TO RELEASE: Chantrell departed her earthly life on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. In addition to her father, Chantrell was also preceded in death by her Stepfather: Stanley Moore; Daughter: Angel Higley and Two Uncles: Raymond McPherson and James Ernest McPherson.

A TIME FOR MOURNERS: Our beloved Missi leaves to cherish her precious memories: SONS: Shamar Tykel Higley, Marquise Higley and Ayden Jackson, all of the home.  MOTHER: Linda Jones Moore of Rocky Point, NC. SIBLINGS: Russell McPherson, Jr. of Rocky Point, NC, Christopher McPherson (Catrina Jones) of Wilmington, NC Deondrea Moore of Greensboro, NC. VERY SPECIAL FRIEND: Antonio Jackson of Albertson, NC.  AUNTS AND UNCLES: Issac Lewis; Esta Stringfield; Williams Jones (Cheryl); Sylvester McPherson (Rosa Lee); Dorothy Taylor (Nik); Diane Hooper (Melvin); Minnie Newkirk; Mack Wayne McPherson; Mike McPherson.  GREAT AUNT: Henrietta Greene, GREAT UNCLE: Al Jones and a host of: Special Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
