Darlene Polk Obituary
On early Monday morning September 23, 2019, sister Darlene Polk answered the call to be with her eternal Father. Darlene was born September 27, 1961 to Carolyn and Bernard Tubman in Portsmouth, Virginia.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord at Shiloh Apostolic Holiness Church. She was a loving mother to her children, grandchildren and to many of the young single mothers in Shiloh. Her firstborn son Anthony and husband Ara preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Carolyn Tubman of Baltimore, MD, three daughters, Shenelle Polk, LaShawnda (Robert) Anderson and Kandace Polk of the home, one son, Terrell Polk also of the home, two sisters, Antonette Tubman (Gary) and Quetta Johnson of Baltimore MD, two brothers, Terrence (Trina) Tubman and Tumas Tubman both of Baltimore MD and one uncle, William Smith of Baltimore MD. A host of other relatives and friends.
