Nathaniel ("BAY BAY") Lofton

Nathaniel "Bay Bay" Lofton Sr. as he was affectionately known, age 63 of Burgaw, NC died on August 4, 2018 in a tragic car accident. His funeral will be 2 pm Sunday August 12, 2018 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Burrial will be in the Friendship Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 5-7 at Nixon Lewis Funeral Home in Burgaw, NC.

Nathaniel was the son of late Gertrude Bordeaux and George Mebane and was reared in Rocky Point, NC. He attended Burgaw High School and later attended the Job Corps. He was a long distance truck driver and he drove trucks for approximately fourty years. He Loved driving trucks. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Rocky Point, NC. Bay Bay was a fun, friendly, loving , caring and giving person.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his precious memories: His Children:  Nathaniel George Lofton, Jr., Antonio Lofton, Sherrica Boney, Malik Boney: Eight Grandchildren, one sister, Annie Lofton, One Brother, Kenneth Lofton, one niece, Destiny Lofton.  A host of other special relatives and friends.
