Radford "Ray" James

Our beloved Radford Earl James was born on October 6, 1962 to the late Annie Liza and John Rouse James in Pender County.  Radford, affectionately known as “Ray”, departed this life on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center in Kenansville, North Carolina. 

Ray was educated in the Pender County public schools system.   He was a lifelong member of Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church in Maple Hill, North Carolina. Ray was a very caring and giving person who showed his love through his words, hugs and kisses. Ray was a loving and devoted brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. 

Radford leaves to cherish his precious memories: MOTHER FIGURE: Linda Farrior (Eugene).  FIVE SISTERS:  Annie Marie James, Melvina James, Sarah Holmes, Sandra James (Randy) and Arletha James.  THREE BROTHERS:  Mervin James (Sue), Eugene James and Amos James. FIVE AUNTS: Othell James, Oretha James, Mary C. James, Rosie Farrior and Hazel B. James.  SPECIAL FRIEND: Lisa Ash and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends.
