Samuel Boney Obituary

Samuel Boney, III, son of Samuel Boney Jr. and Ann Dobson Boney was born May 11, 1975 in Duplin County. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, October 27, 2019. “Jr.” as he was affectionately known, was reared in a loving home and if you knew him, growing up, he could be very mischievous at times and always kept you laughing. He was a kind-hearted person and would do anything he could for you. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was genuine in that, he would tell you just what he felt, and move on but in the same breath tell you he loved you. Sam III attended Duplin County public schools and graduated from Wallace-Rose Hill High School in the Class of 1994. He also was a graduate of Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh, NC and was a certified welder. His career took him all over the country with shut down jobs from Virginia to South Carolina to Florida. He even had the opportunity to travel to Hawaii. Sam III was master at his trade and enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. He left a lasting impression on those he came in contact with. He leaves to cherish his memories: Son, Perry Boney of the home; Parents, Sam Jr. and Ann Boney of the home; Sister, Michelle Boney; Niece, Machenzie and Nephew, Zachary Faison all of Rose Hill. He was part of a close extended family as well. Many days spent with cousins and friends that were like brothers that he kept close contact with. Too many to name but you know who you are. Also left to cherish his memories are a Host of Aunts, Uncles and friends. Our hearts are heavy, and we may not understand but we humbly submit to God’s will. Our loss is truly Heaven’s gain. We won’t say goodbye but so long for now. Take your rest Jr. you are at peace and we will see you in the morning.
