Heaven has gained an Angel on Friday, May 20, 2022. Our beloved husband, father and dear friend, Anthony Joel Allen, Sr’s battle with cancer has finally ended and he has been granted Peace.
Anthony Joel Allen Sr. was born October 3, 1950, to Louise Robinson of Fayetteville, TN who has since gone on to glory. He had three brothers and one sister.
Anthony entered the military and served in the United States Marine Corp for over twenty-six years until his retirement in July 1996 as Master Sergeant. He then continued to serve, working with mental health care facilities.
Anthony, affectionately known as “Peabody” in his home state of TN, had three children and subsequently Anthony, affectionately known as “Tony” in NC, married his soulmate and faithful, devoted wife, Diann Allen on July 28,1980, with whom they gave birth to his youngest son.
Anthony was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. His absence on this side of Glory will be sorely missed but we are left with the blessed assurance that he is with his Heavenly Father looking down on us forever more.
Anthony is survived by: Loving and Dedicated Wife of Forty-two Years: Diann Allen of Jacksonville, NC. Two Sons: Sean (Natalie) Allen of Jacksonville, NC, Anthony Allen, Jr. of Fayetteville, TN. Two Daughters: Kimberly (Terrance) Flint of Huntsville, AL, Katina (Phillip) Bell of Fayetteville, TN. One Brother: Carty Allen of TN. Eight Grandchildren: Sean, Jr. and Quincy Allen, Aquorea and Asher Allen, Shymeshia and Perrion Allen, Alexus and Ashley Edmonson. Four Great-Grandchildren: Christopher and Daylen Edmonson, Cherish Allen, Perrion Allen, Jr. Beloved Mother-in law: Ms. Clementine Pickett of Maple Hill, NC, One Sister-in-law: Judy (George) Phillips of Maple Hill, NC. One Brother-in law: Renteria Moore of Maple Hill, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
