Boberia (Carr) Williams

Mrs. Boberia C. Williams, 84, of Rocky Point, NC, peacefully transitioned at home in Wallace, NC on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Boberia was the daughter of the late Lorraine Williams and Leroy Canady, and the granddaughter of the late James and Ammie Carr, Rocky Point, NC.

Boberia is preceded in death by her husband, Leander (Buddy Lee) Williams, and her oldest daughter, Beverly A. Carr.

She is survived by her three youngest children, Barbette (Eugene) Colvin, Bernadette (Reginald) Keith, and Leanna (Myron) Mulcare along with 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

The Homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2 pm at Mt. Rena Missionary Baptist Church, 10305 NC Hwy 210, Rocky Point.

Interment will follow in the Mose Williams Cemetery, Hwy 210, Rocky Point, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 4 pm - 6 pm at Nixon-Lewis Funeral Home, 212 S. Smith Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.
