Christine Washington

Christine Washington, a lifelong resident of Pender County, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, at the remarkable age of 102. Born on August 26, 1920, Christine, fondly known Ms. Chris lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service to her community. Christine received her education at Pender County Public School, where she developed a strong foundation for her life. After completing her education, Christine worked various jobs. She worked at JP Stevens, where she dedicated her time and energy to her work and colleagues. Christine was known for her kindness and friendly nature, which endeared her to everyone she encountered. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
