David D. Phillips

On Tuesday afternoon, August 8, 2023, God, in His Infinite Wisdom, blew out an unforgettable candle we know as David (Devin) Phillips.

David was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 12, 1965, to the late John Carlton Phillips and Ernestine Mills Phillips.

A celebration of life in memory of our dearly beloved David will be 12 noon, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Nixon Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Burgaw, NC.

David leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Ernestine Mills Phillips, his uncle Matthew Mills (Laverne), his great aunts, Lorraine, Alfair, Delois (Alex), Floyetta, Carolyn (Pete), Mary Helen and his great uncle Ronald Echols (Geneva), along with a host of cousins and other relatives that loved him dearly.
