Dee Jamaal Tramel

Dee Jamaal Tramel was born June 26, 1981, to Wilhelmina Tramel and Dennis Tramel, in Philadelphia, PA. He peacefully transitioned on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Dee was reared in the Currie Community and he was baptized at an early age at Moore’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed attending church regularly until adulthood.

Dee held several jobs during his journey, to name a few: Hercule in Wilmington, NC, Reese’s Cup Auto in Wilmington, NC, and many more.

Dee later moved to Greenville, NC, where he married Astridia Moore Tramel, the love of his life.

Dee embraced life to the fullest. He was a kind, friendly, independent and loving person who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He loved cars, money and clothes. He always knew what he wanted and didn’t mind pursuing after it.

Dee was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and met many people he would call friends. He will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love, faith, hope and kindness will forever be remembered.
