DIMAS "PACO" BETANCOURT age 62, of Currie, NC died Monday, May 16, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

Paco as he was known came to Burgaw in the early 80's as a migrant worker and was later married to the late Betty Mae Mitchell of Burgaw, NC. Paco lived in Burgaw until Betty Mae's death and then moved to Currie with a kindhearted friend and caregiver Cheryl Keitt and her three sons:  Carlos, Bryant and Antonio Williams who loved Paco dearly.

His survivors are three step-children: Thomas, Nikial, and Carla Mitchell, as well as many other relatives and friends and two special friends Carmen Williams and Duane McNeill.  Paco was a kindhearted friend and he  will be missed by all those that knew and loved him.
