Doris Cook, age 74, of Maple Hill, NC, formerly of Richmond VA was born to the late Eva King and Isiah Robinson. Mrs. Cook lived with her daughter Bonita Watkins and husband in Maple Hill, NC until her health began to fail. 

She loved fishing, crabbing and just being outdoors.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, James Johnson Jr. and Charles P. Johnson (Marilyn), one daughter, Bonita Watkins (Ronne).  Three sisters: Wanda Cooke, Jeanette Holman, and Vernell Jackson. A host of grand children, great-grand children, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter Gwendolyn Logan.
