Eddie "DJ Sir Nice" Herring

Eddie Nelson Herring, a well known DJ in the Duplin County area  known to most as "DJ Sir Nice"  departed his life February 3, 2025.  He was born January 6, 1958 in New York to Annie Doris Herring, and the late James Kimerlee Herring of Wallace, NC.

Eddie attended John Adams School in New York before moving to North Carolina Eddie was employed for several years with Prestige Farms in Duplin County.

Eddie was more than just a DJ. he was a true artist that could make anyone dance. His music will always be a reminder of good times and the gentle spirit he was.
