Evalina M. Kirk

Ms Evalina M. Kirk departed this life peacefully on October 8, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, in Fayetteville, NC. Evalina was born on July 7, 1950, in Rock Hill SC, in the County of York to Mannie and Emily Nicholson. Sadly Evalina's mother died during childbirth. Evalina was raised in the loving home of Mr and Mrs McDuffie until the age of three. Evalina became the proud and much-loving addition to Mr. Preston and Mrs. Marlee McGougan, who adopted and raised her as their daughter until their death. Evalina was educated in the Cumberland County School system and enjoyed her employment as a customer service and hospitality worker. Evalina was Othalee Kirk's loyal wife until his death. Evalina leaves to cherish her son Preston L. McGougan, (Tonya), and two stepsons Anthony, (Nakia) and Antonio Baldwin, (Cathy). Three granddaughters Angel Baynes, (Chris), Queen McGougan, (Gregory), and Taylor Hogan, (Antonio). A host of great-grandchildren, family, friends, and her many beloved canine babies.
