Fannie Mae Graham Dortch was born on February 23, 1930, to the late Mary Graham Kenan and the late Benny Dixon. She peacefully answered the Master’s call on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
She was educated in the Duplin County Public Schools System. She was a faithful, dedicated member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church until her health begin to decline. Fannie also served as Mother of the church and loved her church family. Fannie loved baking cakes and cooking for others. She loved her family and friends. Fannie’s favorite words were “God has been good to me” She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents,
Fannie was also preceded in death by her four brothers: Buddy Graham, Paul “Jr.” Graham, Earl Kenan and Dewitt Kenan.
Fannie leaves her precious memories to be cherished by: Four Nephews: Doug Graham, Allen Graham, Larry Graham, Edward Graham. Cousins: Martha Baker (Willie), Lenora Kenan (Edgar), Paul Bryant (Ann), Gerald Bryant, Donnell Bryant, Regina Cooper, Connell Bryant (Brenda), Charles Graham (Celestine), Romey Mae Carr (Jimmy) and a host of other relatives and friends.
