Fred Alfred Carr Jr. was born on July 27, 1965, to the late Fred Alfred Carr and Arelethia Carr. He peacefully passed away on May 9, 2026, with his wife, Mary, and family beside him.
Fred was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved his family dearly. He also loved his church and his pastor, Elder Larry McLean, who was always there for him through his sickness and hospitalizations, consistently showing love and spiritual support to him and his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Ennis, whom he loved very much, and his sister-in-law, Lockett, whom he fondly referred to as his "other wife."
Fred leaves fond memories to be cherished by his wife, Mary; his children, Azima, Justin (Jalonda), Bahar (Janee), and Barbie; and his grandchildren, Mary, Erin, Mauricio, Akari, and Jayceon. He is also survived by his niece, Nichelle Ennis; his nephew, Joaquin Carr; very special cousins, Annie Cline and Terry Carr (Vanessa), as well as many more cousins whom he loved dearly; his aunts, Alice Mae, Lula, Peggy, Corine, Laddie Mae, and Linda; his uncles, Archie, Jimmy Lee, and James; his sisters-in-law, Alice (George) and Amy; his brothers-in-law, Kevin, Gordon (Renee), Julius, James, and George; his special brother, Marty Allen; and his special friends, Mary Anderson, Mary Roberson, Ernest Carr, Ricky Dudley, Jeff Jacobs, Frankie Lewis, Bryan (Dee), Chris Arnone, and Lewis Henderson, along with a host of other friends and relatives.
He loved you all and will truly be missed.
