Georgia Mae Lewis Gresham was born in Pender County on May 14, 1943, to the late William Earl Lewis and Mary Liza Pickett Lewis. She was called home from labor to reward on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Vidant Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, North Carolina.
Georgia attended and graduated from CF Pope High School. She was a member of St. Matthew Holiness Church where she was one of the first usher/choir members there. She was a very loving person and to know her was to lover her. Georgia loved watching wrestling, game shows and court on TV.
She was very strong willed and strong minded. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Georgia was also preceded in death by three sisters: Lela Williams, Betty Bland, Mary Johnson; and one son: Perinoski Lewis. Georgia leaves to cherish her precious memories:
