Obituary
Mr. Herman Lee Lewis Sr, age 80 of the West Pender Community in Burgaw, NC, peacefully submitted to the will of God on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. He was the son of the late John David Pigford of Willard, NC, and Mary S. Lewis Anderson of Burgaw, NC.
The funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at St. Mary United Holy Church in Atkinson, NC. Interment to follow at St. Mary United Holy Church Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Elder Larry McLean.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Lula Mae Carr Lewis of the home, one daughter, Brenda Johnson of Greensboro, NC, two sons, Herman Lewis Jr of the home, and Jesse J. Lewis of Watha, NC.
