Iola Florence (Lofton) Harrison

Obituary

Mrs. Iola Lofton Harrison was born on August 5, 1933 to the late Lermon Lofton and the late Lillian Lofton of the Deep Bottom Community in Wallace, North Carolina. She peacefully submitted to the will of God on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Her husband, Clifton Harrison and son, Craig Harrison preceded her in death.

Iola was educated in the Duplin County Public School System. She worked many years for National Spinning in Warsaw and Beulaville for 25 years. Iola enjoyed flowers, puzzles, traveling, thrift stores and sharing wisdom with others.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Iola was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

Iola leaves to cherish her precious memories: Three Sons: Clifton Bryant, Jr. (Lynda), of Dunn, NC, Milton McMillion, of Wallace, NC, Gregory Harrison (Mary), of Raleigh, NC. Four Daughters: Leatrice Bines, of Raleigh, NC, Gloria Whitehead (Willie Jay), of Richland, NC, Linda Ann Harrison, of Magnolia, NC, Lisa Michelle Harrison, of Raleigh, NC. Two Sisters: Lena Hansley, of Wallace, NC, Beaty Dobson, of Goldsboro, NC. Two Brothers: James A. Lofton, of Maple Hill, NC, Lermon Gene Lofton, of Wallace, NC.  A Loving Host Of: grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
