Jabari Eli McDonald was born on May 3rd, 2013, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC to Jasmine Carroll and Vann McDonald Jr. He was a loving grandson to Jamie Tate of Willard NC. God called him home on September 4th, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Jabari attended Malpass Corner School. He got along very well with his peers.
Everyone called him "BB or Bari". He loved to smile and laugh. He was so sweet and full of life. He could brighten up the room with a simple smile. Although he was only with us for 10 years, he gave us some of the greatest memories. He was loving, he was sweet, he was unique, and he was our JABARI. Jabari had a wonderful support team backing him up: family & friends, doctors, and nurses. Jabari will always be remembered by his loved ones. We love you Jabari.
