James E. Bannerman entered eternal rest on Wednesday May 20, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1954 to the Late Manely Otto Bannerman and Mary Lou Pickett Bannerman. He was educated in the Onslow County School System graduating from Dixon High School. He worked as a Surveyor in construction during his early age. As a young man he received Jesus Christ as his personal savior. In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by three siblings, William C. Bannerman, Manuel Bannerman, Dorothy L. Bannerman, and a great-nephew John Rouse James III “JR”.

Bannerman leaves to cherish his memories: Brother: Willie Lee Bannerman (Mizuri), of Rose Hill, NC Nieces and Nephews: Manuel “Teddy” Bannerman; Katie Houston (John); Theresa Hayes (Carnel); Keion Everette; Mary Ann Bannerman Miales; Great-nieces: Chantal Bannerman and Ariana Miales, and the three children of his brother Willie Lee Bannerman, First Cousin: Brenda Humphrey Great-nephew: Reggie Bannerman and the Two Great-Nephews Who Lived with Him: Otis Bannerman and Ashley Reyes.
