John Seborn Ray Smith

On October 8, 1957, the journey for John Seborn Ray Smith began. He was born to proud parents, Harry Lee Smith and the late Annie Louise Johnson Smith in New Haven, Connecticut. His parents relocated to Wallace, NC and provided a life of love and devotion unto their son.

He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and soon was called into the ministry. He accepted the call to preach the Gospel. He attended the United Christian College in Goldsboro, North Carolina under the Southern District Convocation of the United Holy Church of America. He was an ordained Elder and appointed as Pastor of St. Rest Holy Church, LaGrange, North Carolina, where he served joyfully and with humility.
