On Saturday, August 8, 2015, God streched his hand and called Karla home saying, "Come My Child You Have Had Enough."  Karla passed peacefully from this life after a gradual decline in her health.  She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.

Karla was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 27, 1972 to Nellie and Kenneth Hampton.  She was preceded in death by her loving brother Kenneth Tracy Hampton.

Karla attended the Clearwater School District in Florida.  In 2003 she moved to North Carolina with her three children, Tracy, Charnita and Travon.

Karla had a great since of humor.  In her leisure she enjoyed music, drawing, dancing and cooking as well as spending time with her children  other family members and friends.

Karla leaves to cherish her loving memory her two sons, Tracy and Travon and her daughter Charnita, all living in Rocky Point with her mother Nellie Williams, and her father Kenneth Hampton who resides in Hampton, New Jersey. A host of loving cousins (her favorite cousin Gretta Inman) and friends.

Karla is greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
