Kaseem Antwan Armstrong, known fondly as “KA” to his family
and friends, left this world on October 5, 2024, at the age of 34 at
ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. He was born on
December 21, 1989, in New Hanover County to Thomas Johnson, Jr.
and Leah Shere Armstrong.
Kaseem attended Heidi Trask High School, Rocky Point, NC and
received his GED and trade certificate in concrete finishing from LBJ
Corps in Asheville, NC in 2008 where he developed the foundation
that would carry him throughout his life. He was employed by
Lucky's Detailing and Pressure Washing in Rose Hill, NC, where he
made lasting friendships.
Beyond his family and work life, Kaseem was a man of many
interests. He loved playing video games but his love for rap music
and his talent for rapping and making music were well-known among
his circle. Kaseem's passion for music was not just a hobby but a way
for him to express his creativity and connect with others. His friends,
Michael McKormik, Curtis Jenkins, Jonathan Perman, Brandon
Adams and Delonica Hall shared many of these moments, forming
an unbreakable bond through their shared love for music and life.
