Born on January 6, 1957, Lee spent most of his life dedicated to farming. He was truly at home behind the wheel of a big tractor and found great pride in working the land. Outside of the fields, he was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing. Above all, Lee cherished the time spent with his family, especially watching wrestling with his grandchildren.
Lee David was educated in the Pender County school system.
Though Lee faced significant physical challenges as an invalid for many years, he remained remarkably pleasant. Despite his inability to communicate and his limited mobility, his kind spirit and gentle nature continued to shine through to those who cared for him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane, and children. Harriett, Shanna, Christopher, Jeremiah, Johnnie and Cory and his beloved grandchildren and great-grand children and sister Rose Ennis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Jacobs, and his mother, Emma Ennis Jacobs. Two brothers, Alton and Alvin Jacobs and sister Almeta Tynes.
