Leroy Williamson

Leroy Williamson was born on October 7, 1954, in Sampson County, to the late Fulton Lee Williamson and the late Elizabeth Williamson Hull. He passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional in Wilmington, NC. He attended Sampson County Schools and at an early age, he joined Andrews Chapel in Clinton NC.  On June 21, 2006, Leroy married the love of his life Gwendolyn Williamson, and resided in Burgaw, NC where he loved to cook. He always wore a beautiful smile on his face. To know Leroy was to love him! 

In addition to his parents, Leroy is also preceded in death by two brothers: Fulton Lee Williamson, Jr. and Jeffrey Williamson, and two sisters: Betty Speight and Janice Williamson.

Williamson (Shirley) of Leland, NC, Billy R. Williamson, Sr. (Catrice) of Lillington, NC, Jimmy L. Williamson (Pam) of Raeford, NC, Four Sisters: Deborah L. Williamson and Jeanette Suarez (Joseph) both of Clinton, NC, Linda Jo Williamson of Henrico, VA, Elizabeth Elaine Williamson of Greensboro, NC.  A host of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
