Maggie James-Milliner-Murrill age 82 of Sneads Ferry, NC peacefully passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Maggie was one of thirteen children born to the late David and Lizzie James. She was educated in the Onslow County School System and graduated from Georgetown High School and Coastal Carolina Community College.

Her funeral will be 2pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Jenkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 166 Sneads Ferry Rd. in Sneads Ferry, NC with Rev. Johnnie Williams, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the James Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2 pm one hour prior to service at the church on Tuesday.

In addition to her husband, James Murrill, she is survived by her children; Melissa Green of Brooklyn, New York, Cassandra Pickett of Jacksonville, NC, Timothy Milliner and wife Debbie of Hampstead, NC, Anthony Milliner of Jacksonville and Monica Milliner of Clayton, NC. Five grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Danielle, Nathan, Briana, Ashanti; Four great-grandchildren, Ha'Sauni, Jasiyah, A'Krista, and Allen.  One brother, Wilbur James of Norfolk, Va. and one sister, Sarah Miles of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Milliner and sister Emmalline Williams.
