Mahonney Kassima Kebe was born in Columbus, GA in 1948. Several years later the family moved to Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating high school, he attended Coppin State University. He played semi-pro football for a time. Mahonney joined the USMC in 1971. He was awarded multiple good conduct awards as well as meritorious promotions. Mahonney served in the recon unit, the Airborne unit and later became a Senior drill instructor who later retired as a Master Seargent. In June 1988 he joined Shiloh Church and was baptized in Jesus Name. He sat under the tutelage of the late Bishop Robert Meredith and sang with the Harmonaires. There he met the earthly love of his life. He was united in holy matrimony to his wife Cheryl Kebe in 1990. In this union he was blessed with 5 children, 18 grands and 10 great grands. Bro. Kebe was Ordained as an Elder in 1998. and later joined Open Arms PTA Ministries. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
