Mangle "Bro" Horne Jr was born on September 5, 1942 to the late Mangle "Buddy" Horne Sr. and Annie Ruth King Horne in Duplin County. He departed this life on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Mangle was educated in the Duplin County Public School System. He was a jack of all trades.
He loved working on cars and would collect them to drive, he loved watching his old western movies, boxing, and wrestling. Mangle loved carpentry and fixing things with his hands, he loved to dance, loved music and he was the life of the party with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Aldene M. Horne. His parents Mangle Horne Sr. and Annie Ruth King Horne, one brother, Paul Horne, Three sisters, Pearl Horne, Annie Dixon, and Aldene Turman.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Darrell Horne (Verna), Greg Horne, Lawerence Horne (Opey), Joy Hamilton (Diarell), Heidi Horne, Randy Horne, Jewel Stanbra (Nathan), Raeford Miller (Paula), Donald Miller (Dannette), Shantele Miller Bennerman, Annie Murrell, John Moore, Aldessa Farrior (Phynoid), Melanie Moore.
His siblings: Clarence Horne, Willie Horne, David Carter, Dorothy Horne, and Mary Plummer. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
