Marilyn (Huffin) Floyd

Mrs. Marilyn Huffin Floyd was born on January 31, 1941, to the late Mary M. Huffin, and the late Bill Carr in Wallace North Carolina. She departed this life peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018. She was married to the late Marvin Floyd of New York, where she spent the majority of her life, before moving back to Duplin County. Marilyn received her education in the Duplin County Public Schools System and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse for Duplin General Hospital for several years as well as worked in home health until her health declined. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was also preceded in death by: One Daughter: Barbara Newkirk and Two Brothers: Willow Huffin and Billy Carr.
