Maurice, also known as Tank, was a devoted father, son, and friend who enjoyed, traveling, playing basketball, playing video games, attending car shows, and grilling. He developed the reputation of a master griller. Maurice loved life and people and made a lasting impression on all he met.
He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Richika Z. Jones of Beulaville, NC; mother, Virginia T. Jones of LaGrange, NC; sister, Tierra K. Jones of Kinston, NC; brother, Nico R. Jones of Manhattan, KS; companion and cherished friend, Stephanie L. Branch, of Pink Hill, NC; grandparents, Maude M. and Stacy Brown of Pink Hill, NC; aunt, Ethel C. Williams (Jimmy Ray) of Rose Hill, NC; uncles, Jimmy A. Houston (Konya) of Pink Hill, NC, Stacy Brown, Jr. (Valerie) of Pink Hill, NC, Tony L. Brown of Pink Hill, NC; nieces, Jordyn Jones of Kinston, NC; Kennedi Jones of Kinston, NC. He is also survived, cherished, and loved by cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives and friends.
