Yesterday my birth, today my death, tomorrow my memories.

On the cold blistery night of Friday, January 13, 1961, a baby girl was born to the late Margaret Rose Pickett Rochelle and John Edward Rochelle at Pender Memorial Hospital, Burgaw, NC. That baby girl was me and I was named Ramona Karen Rochelle aka “Moon”. On Tuesday, March 6, 2020, as my eyes grew dim, the body tired, my old soul took flight leading me to the gates of heaven.

Education: Maple Hill Elementary Burgaw Middle Pender High School, Class of 1979 Pender High Homecoming Queen – 1978 North Carolina A&T State University B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology Concentration in Manufacturing School of Engineering & Logistics Management Specialist Career: Dept of the Army, Detroit Michigan Alltel and Verizon, Raleigh, NC.

Hobbies: Fishing, music and socializing with friends and relatives.

Lo, please do not weep for me because I am on the other side of the mountain, smiling, singing and praising God is all I do now. Well, my family and friends, I am resting in the arms of my heavenly father now. I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you goodbye. You see when God plucked my wilting rose, I had to go. Muh, Dad and Glenn were at the gates of heaven waiting for me. Oh, I am so happy now. Love one another and cherish God. Always put god first. Now I tell you all goodbye, I love each of you.
