OBITUARY

Shena Rene Farrior was born at the Elmhurst Hospital, Queens, New York, on August 24, 1970 to Alyce Farrior and father, Louis Houser.  She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Thomas Keitt, who preceded her in death.

Shena attended the public schools in Brooklyn, New York and after graduation, she attended New York City Technical College receiving an Associate’s Degree in Public Affairs.  She was employed with Maimonides Jewish Hospital working as a Public Relations Coordinator until she moved to Jacksonville, Florida, after the birth of her daughter, Chynna, in 2002.  A recent resident of St. Marys, Georgia, Shena was a loving mother, sister and aunt until her sudden death on November 6, 2014, at the home of her sister.

Shena leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, her daughter, Chynna Farrior; her mother, Alyce Farrior-Keitt; brothers, Jimmy and Kareem Farrior; sisters, Apostle Donna Farrior-Ingram and Luichia (Crissy) Farrior (Sean); three aunts, four uncles, three great aunts, and one great uncle; Shena loved and nurtured six nieces, Diamond, Kashawna, Shakira, Jaziah, Tykia and Ahkenna; one nephew, Thomas Ingram, Jr.; Also a host of cousins and friends who will sorely miss her too.
