Timothy Carlton Walker

Timothy Carlton Walker, was born on December 20, 1951 to the late Thelma Walker and James T. Brewington. He was called to rest on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Novant Health Regional Center, (New Hanover), Wilmington, NC. Tim/Cott, as he was affectionately called, spent his early childhood in Willard, NC, where he lived with his extended family, Levy and Luvenia. He attended Willard Elementary through 8th grade. In 1968 he relocated to Brooklyn, New York where he continued his education and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn. Tim was employed by the New York Highway Department briefly then the New York City Housing Authority for a few years. His final job was with New York City transit. There are a number of close friends and others with whom he shared special events throughout his life. To them his family begs…do not mourn for him. Instead celebrate the wonderful life of Timothy C. Walker. He was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
