William Irving Coleman Jr.

William Coleman, Jr., of Wilmington, North Carolina, departed this earth in the loving care of family and the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare (Hospice) on April 13, 2021. He was born August 30, 1941 in Wilmington, NC, a graduate of Tileston High School, a US Navy Veteran and a past employee of General Electric, in Castle Hayne, NC. Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Irving Coleman, Sr; parents George and Vera Carlton, and brothers David Coleman and George Ray Carlton.

He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, and children: Melissa Rivenbark and husband Larry, Katherine Coleman, Debbie Harkins, William Coleman III, Michael Coleman, Regina Cornillaud and his sisters Vera (Muffin) Barnhill, Cynthia Carlton, as well as multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and lifelong, dearest friend Johnny Hughes.
