Maple Hill-Willie Ann Scott, affectionately known as "Ann" was born on October 27, 1951, to the late Edith Pickett Newkirk and John P. Newkirk in Pender County, North Carolina. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the age of 73, Ann peacefully answered the Master's call while surrounded by love at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.
