Winfred Kenan was born February 19, 1962, to Edgar Kenan and Lenora Bryant Kenan in Duplin County. He departed this life on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina
“Wimp the Pimp” as he was affectionately known, was educated in the Duplin County Public Schools system. He worked many odd jobs; concrete, lawn care, and could be called “Mr. Fix-It”, because of his gift to repair what seemed to be unrepairable to most.
Winfred enjoyed dancing and spending quality time with his family. He was always the life of the party and always willing to help anyone. So, from the words of “Wimp the Pimp” ... “PEACE OUT!”
Winfred is also preceded in death by one brother: Norman H. Kenan.
