I first met Pearly while growing up on a farm on Ashton Road in Rocky Point. He and my Dad were close friends so naturally I got to know him real well. Pearly was a very kind hearted man. I spent many an hour listening to him and my dad discuss farming. Pearly was always willing to lend a helping hand. I got the chance to visit with him a few years back and enjoyed every minute of our conversation. I can honestly say, Pearly was one of the finest men I've ever met. Pearly may you rest in peace.
